报告摘要：Measuring Dynamic Mass of Galaxy Disk with MaNGA Data Abstract: Dynamical mass surface density is one of the most fundamental properties of galactic disks, it can be calculated by disk stellar vertical velocity dispersion and disk scale height. We measure the dynamical mass surface density of galactic disks of 70 galaxies. The 70 sample galaxies are selected from the SDSS-IV MaNGA IFU survey. They are close to face-on, and regular in shape and kinematics. With the measured dynamical mass and gas mass distribution of galactic disks, we derive the stellar mass to light ratio. By rotation curve mass decomposition, we also test the maximum-disk hypothesis.

报告题目：Period Variation in Eclipsing Binaries and Circumbinary Planets Detection

报告摘要：More and more eclipsing binary stars are found to have a period variation feature. To explain this phenomenon, researchers have supposed a circumbinary planets system model.They claimed that this model could be used to detect circumbinary planets. In this talk, I will first briefly explain the basic ideas and principles of this model. And then, I will give a review on a series work based on this model. Some numeric dynamical simulation works for this model will also be introduced. In the end, I will give some my concerns about the possible mistakes in this series work, which I hope could lead a short discussion among us.
