报告摘要:High-resolution angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy (ARPES) is one of the most powerful tools to reveal directly the electronic structures of solids. With improved energy and momentum resolution, one can evaluate detailed band structures and magnitudes of many-body interactions on the quasi-particles near the Fermi level. Tunable photon energy and variable light polarization are now indispensable for the state-of-the-art high-resolution ARPES experiments of novel materials and multiband correlated electron systems [1-5]. Furthermore, development of highly efficient spin detector enables us to examine fine spin textures of the surface derived states or edge states of topological systems [6-8].

We run high-resolution ARPES experiments using undulator radiation in the VUV-SX region (hν~5-300 eV) from a 700-MeV compact electron-storage ring "HiSOR", in the campus of Hiroshima University. In this talk, I will introduce polarization-dependent high-resolution ARPES system on the linear undulator beamline, and low-energy high-resolution ARPES system / high-resolution spin-polarized ARPES system on the variably polarizing undulator (quasi-periodic APPLE-II [9]) beamline. I will show some results from these beamlines.
