报告摘要：Some of the most exotic astrophysics happens near neutron stars and black holes. Due to their compact nature and deep potential wells, the evidence of this often comes in the form of very energetc, brief events: transients. In this talk I will show some recent work on monitoring the sky for rare transients in different wavelengths and gravitational waves, and what interesting physics we can learn from those transients when we observe them.
